Kathleen Kaufman MA,ATR invites you to explore the many opportunities that Healing Thru Art has for individuals to enrich their lives while they explore a variety of art media, learn about self, build self-esteem, develop communication skills and work through personal issues.

Healing Thru Art provides art therapy sessions for individuals with disabilities including: developmental, cognitive, physical disabilities, autism, hearing and visual impairments, dementia, alzheimers, and those in hospice care. We also provide services designed for the emotionally disabled and at-risk students.
 
Healing Thru Art is based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and art therapist Kathleen Kaufman provides both Art Therapy and Art Lessons for Milwaukee, Waukesha and now Jefferson Counties.

The Art Therapy sessions are for individuals with and without disabilities who are interested in utilizing art media to explore the full spectrum of therapeutic models for assessment and treatment.   Art Therapy opens the door for individuals to work through emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, develop social skills, manage self, reduce anxiety, assist in problem solving, and increase self-esteem.
 
The creative art process will provide individuals with a variety of tools to enhance growth and development through the process of art making.  Breaking through barriers and finding avenues that assist with daily needs, communication and social skills and the development of self.
